 Stocks

• After the speech on fri, stocks continued to fall over the past few days for fear that interest rates will stay high to fight inflation.

• News regarding sales of chips to China and Russia came after hours and markets went down again, probably making this week red.

• Rolled some of my puts and calls, currently waiting for 268.33 to be assigned on coming fri, with a total of 3300 shares.

• Covered calls at atm to earn premiums, unlikely to ath this year.
• Realized profit still fighting above 300k... no greedy mistakes please.

Life

• Mask off in most places, much easier to climb.
• 4 more months to eoy, hoping to increase pf value by then...PKL

• Jpow spoke about having to keep interest rates high so as to control inflation and that sent the entire market down. 
• Basically, fight inflation at the expense of economic growth

• Tsla did the 3 for 1 split on Thurs, due to macro we didn't see the spike like the previous but it was expected.
• Can say that this week was quite a flat growth but it did surprisingly better than the indices.

• Sold quite a number of puts on TSLA at 840, 830 and 810 pre split and naked puts at 780, fingers crossed not to hit that level.
• Same thing for selling calls at 975, 1020 and 1100, I think I will be assigned on fri unless things turn for the better.

• Managed to surge past 300k this week, hopefully it will last.

Life

• 2 more days to mask off finally, looking extremely forward to that day.
• Improved climbing grades? Pt will be paid fully in cash as credit system has been scraped off...PKL

Split at 297

Stocks

• TSLA will be trading at 1/3 of its trading price on 24/8, making shares affordable for the masses.

• Based on last split, share price on split day went up almost 13% but imo unlikely to see such pumps even though pre market is green atm.
• Left with a few otm calls and sold 10 860 puts exp this fri, as long profits are growing every week, all is well.
• Will be looking to get TSLA back if the price is right, aiming for at least 250 post split.

• Mask wearing have been made optional with effect from 29/8, looking forward to seeing people wo their masks...PKL

Under 900s loh

 Stock

• Couldn't hold 900 for the week and fell below on fri, repeated my options actions again.

• Rolled over 885 puts exp next week, will decide strike price on mon following week, thinking of 850s. I don't think the 742 gap is gonna get filled.

• Based on news, Fed are still hawkish and 75bps for next hike is highly likely and CGS with his bearish view vs AK/LCC bullish view...

• 300k realized profit seems to be my resistance, hope to break it and sustain this coming week.
• Split is happening in 4days time.. should be seeing massive buying from retail unless macro again.
• My BBBY call gonna be worthless as the movement leader sold all of his holdings 😑

Life

• Went for 7th month dinner on Sat, typical 8 course meal but as the saying goes FFBF.
• Ulcers in my mouth has been such a torture, please recover quickly....PKL

Resistance and fell back

 Stocks

• After the close on last fri at 909, TSLA went on further to reach the highs of 940s on tues but failed to hold there and closed at 919.

• Currently premarket is around 912 and frankly speaking, I think it's unlikely to see 1000 anytime soon.
• Closed my 920 calls, 960 calls which I rolled to 1000calls, opened new short calls at 1100 exp next fri and 1 month later.

• Sold all my TSLA at a gain of approx 2k and opened new short puts at 900 exp this fri, highly likely to be assigned but all is good. Took a yolo gamble on BBBY as well.

Life

• Said some stuff to debtor, seems like he was really offended but hopefully he is able to deliver what he says if not that will be the end of our relationship, jokes on him to say future business partner.
• With his style of work, the more I wouldn't want to be involved with him. Friend is friend, money is money. If one can't even manage finances well, what more other things?...PKL

Closed above 900

 Stocks

• After a week, share price finally closes above $900, post at $904

• Entire market rose by almost 3% in the past week due to expectations which were not as bad.

• Split will happen in 11 more days and based on past split, share price is expected to pump as traders fomo in to get shares and selling after split.
• Did some stupid last minute option plays on fri and lost almost 9k of profits, hopefully such things don't happen again.
• Sold 960 calls for next week, 1100 naked calls for next month and bought 920 calls for next week as I foresee split pump and sold some naked otm puts.

• Strategy from now may be to sell puts/calls and buying slightly otm calls/puts.
• Should be quite an exciting week, if share price really closes above 960, I'll take it

Life

• Decided to take over KYP's crypto as some sort of diversification, will be holding on blocfolio to get the 5% pa returns.
  
• Debtor is really cmi, based on the way things are done, doubting repayment at end of year.
• People should really know the difference between ambitious and over ambitious and be humble...PKL

Elon sold again

 Stocks

• TSLA fell back to the 800s due to EM selling to finance twitter purchase, reason was to prevent any emergency stock sale if he has to buy in the end.
• However this was good news as he mentioned if the deal doesn't go through, the money will be used to buy TSLA back.
• CPI was 8.5% actual vs 8.7% expected, stocks went flying after 8.30pm yesterday but share price was a little sus as general market was green while TSLA starting selling off from 5% to red for almost 2hr period.
• Fortunately, price rebounded to close at 883 which means higher lows everyday from now till split. 
• Opened new positions for my entire position, 925 calls exp 12/8 and also naked 950 calls.

Life

• Received news that one ex colleague went to find LKY due to constant depression, sad news to know that mental illness is so common nowadays and there are still people who think lightly about it.
• Met old colleagues but yeah....PKL

TSLA confirmed split

• TSLA has officially confirmed its split on its shareholder meeting on 5/8 for a 3-1 which will happen on 25/8.

• Traders have started taking profits seeing how the sudden drop of almost 7% on Friday, moiself have become the bagholder for now but I will not sell anymore :(

• Covered calls and naked otm puts as usual for weekly cash generation and as mentioned before, approx 111k USD to pay premiums over next 2 years.

Life

• Sent car for vicom inspection only to fail because of o2 sensor, had to pay $100 to remove and attach back in addition to spending a few hours queuing....PKL

Stock split confirmation

 Stocks

• TSLA will be holding its shareholder meeting tomorrow for its stock split confirmation, most likely to be passed easily and questions will be answered from its shareholders.
• Did some 'swing trading' for TSLA and bought back 600 at average of $916, I really don't learn from the lessons but oh well as long I don't take anymore losses, all is good.
• Will be continuing selling puts and calls for weekly income.
• 63% stock, 37% cash at the moment.
