Mini rally did not last

 Stocks

• Indexes rallied on wed when BOE decided to do some QE to save its currency against USD as DXY surged to almost 115 during the first two days of this week.

• The following day came and erased all the gains with TSLA dropping almost 7% to almost 266.
• Basically the Fed has to do QT to a certain limit before pivoting as mentioned on a video I watched on YouTube which I found to be logical.
• TSLA opened lower on fri at 265 and came to lows of 262s before moving up to prices of 271.58 as of current time.
• AI day will be happening on Sat morning at 915am and EM said mostly to be a recruiting event but there maybe some stuff to be shown
• Production/Delivery numbers are to be released on Sun if are to follow previous dates, highly likely to see a rally and I will sell some calls probably.
• Current is to sell very otm weekly puts/calls according to price movements and 30 to 45 dte for main holdings.

Life

• Went to talk to debtor with others and turns out shit has hit the ceiling for him, major screw up since 2 years ago but I myself was lied about him being able to handle his situation.
• By now would have seen how cruel it was when such types of mistakes are made, hope the plan will be executed accordingly.
• Waiting for crowdfund to finish and will proceed from there, hoping the trouble that the helpers have to go through will change his direction...PKL

Same shit again but worse?

 Stocks

• Just as previous fomc rate hike, stocks shot up as Jpow was talking and then trended down bad towards end of week.
• Current SPY is moving towards June's low followed by QQQ and TSLA which is holding above support at 275.

• Who thought TSLA would go under 300 after strong movements over past 2 weeks but if it were to break 275 closing downwards, we are likely to see 250s and that's where my options play for next week will be at.
• Sometimes I need to question myself for chasing that few more Ks for that unnecessary risk, should I have just waited for end of week with my calls....

• Fingers crossed for TSLA to do a rebound or not to close under 255 next week or moi will be in trouble.
• Tiger Brokers P/L statement now fluctuates at end of day movement due to accounting for unrealized losses, why would they do that? Have not noticed whether withdrawal affects as well...
• Sucks to see under 300 now...

Life

• Economy seems to be going really bad with USD reaching highest vs SGD since 2007, seriously doubt my ability to get a car by then not mentioning other wants.
• Friend mentioned before really needs to reflect well on his actions, 8 years of work and still in bad debt..
• Want to help but can't seem to do it, gamblers don't deserve pity at all...PKL

0.75 as expected

 Stocks

• Fed made the decision of 0.75% for interest rate and markets fell before Jpow spoke and flew up as he was speaking due to markets expectations were in line.
• Indexes fell big time after 3.15am, thought everything was quite stable but then came the sudden sell off towards closing.

• Rebalanced my options and currently have 30 put contracts @ 298.33, looking at pre markets, gonna be assigned unless I roll to next week. Current call options looks very safe, its very unlikely to see 1k share price this year.
• Will see whether the 300 support can hold till end of week or will share price gap down..

Life

• Right knee area have been giving problems for a few days, dk the cause as of this time, hopefully its not rheumatism.
• Will have cut down climbing if condition persists, seriously wtf man...pkl

• TSLA did really well against SPY n QQQ with a positive 0.88% gain over 5 days vs a 5% to 6% loss for both of them.
• The support level is strong at 300 for TSLA, even though price went under a few times, the rebound came quick and ended almost positive each time.
• 920k barrier of cash available is currently another hurdle for me to cross, its been over 2 weeks but total value has been fluctuating due to stupid mistakes.
• Went to swap USD to SGD and back to USD, lost around 6k due to spread on a almost 900k balance, wtf... (1.4buy vs 1.41sell 0.66% spread)
• Plan was to buy SG div stock but somehow options still pay better wo capital fluctuations, will start to withdraw sgd out to MM to start a new sg div pf over there.
• Options are still being sold whenever prices drop/rise too much but strikes are otm so lesser contracts to roll over.

Life

• Managed to discover a seating option for my car, MW should be able to enjoy the new ride.
• Looking forward to lepak div investing...PKL

Took a wrong bet tmd...

 Stocks

• CPI data was released today and moi thought that based on last month data and oil prices down, cpi for aug should be lower thus took a bet on price going up.

• Guess what, moi got rugpulled bad, bought 1k at 306 and within 10mins after cpi was released, share price dropped to 296 and then lower.
• Tried to remedy with options by taking some losses, realized profits fell by almost 18k based on reference from mon closing price.
• PF value dropped by 23k due to current TSLA holdings bought at 292 ish.
• Sold 30 calls exp 1 month at 300 strike, if option becomes itm, total profit would be a min of 64k by then if not the least is 41k gains at the expense of lower share price value.

• Surprisingly, TSLA held better than other bigger cap stocks perhaps of KGL with his purchase of 100k more shares.

Inflation? Can eat anot?

• Big rally for the week for the 2 major US indices even though JPOW said the exactly same thing he did last fri at Jackson Hole.

• TSLA tried to hit 300 but couldn't break through it, based on next week cpi data, we should see the resistance being broken.

• No luck with 290call end up losing almost 13k on it but thankfully scalp some TSLA to end week off with 12k up.
• Sold 280 puts and some otm puts/call at 0.20 per contract and bought 2 305c to hedge in case of pump.

Life

• Looks like small debtor will have to extend his loan, can't understand why would people want to do things impulsively?
• Hopefully, everything is ok with him...pkl

Shorts covering?

 Stocks

• Markets rebounded after a consecutive few days of downtrend but is it just a temporary pump?
• Did some adjustments to my options contract but some of them seems to be in trouble soon if TSLA closes above 290 this fri.

• Don't think monthly options suit my style of playing and so far share price hasn't close below 270 for the past 8 weeks although lowest was 265.74.

• Thinking to sell weeklies at 270 to get max profits and calls at 0.50 per contract.
• Looking at div investors' blog really tempting, should I just follow them or sell options? TSLA still seems to be the best bet for my money...

Life

• Car decided to play one last stunt on me when the starter motor fried some wiring to the engine.
• Sent for repairs which totaled 375.8 for a replacement, praying to be the last repair before scrap next aug....PKL

US unemployment went up but market rallied and then fell back

 Stocks

• From fri's unemployment report, unemployment rate went up which meant less labour pressure on the economy due to wage growth.

• Market pumped till mid day before falling negative as fears of aggressive rate hikes are still very real.

• Nord stream 1 apparently closed for "maintenance" but seems like a political play.
• Sold monthly puts, some naked calls and some naked otm puts for next week. If TSLA falls to 225, will be assigned 4k shares. :)

• Next week will be a short week, don't see a big fall due to constant falling over past week
• Flat growth for current week's profit due to rolling of previous puts.

Life

• Will be doing 246 schedule for month of SEP, cash payment ranging from $9 - $11 per hour
• School holidays for SGN, hoping PZ to be less busy...PKL
