IRAN war, sold all of my DBS

Stoks

Removed STI index tracking
  • Iran war continues since last Sat, oil prices have shot up from 60s to 90s in just a week.
  • Expect to see higher inflation and lack of rate cuts this year.
  • After watching vids on who's the actual bully, DT is a sucker for Netanyahoo.
  • Support IRAN fully on defending themselves from the bullies.
  • Main happening this week was DBS sold down on Mon from 57.12 to 55.5.
  • First half of the day was decent but stock continued to sell down to support level of 55s.
  • Already lost more than 100K paper gains in Feb alone.
  • Decided that risking my paper gains wasn't worth it, made the choice to clear entire holding.
  • If markets decide to play me then so be it, at least I locked in 460K of gains.
  • Will wait till at least 50 if I were to start another position there.
  • Bought more D05 for TBL, now holding 7900. Will slowly buy more as it goes down.
  • As mentioned before, doubt to see much tailwind from banks this year.
  • Went back to US options and markets, bought 100 shares of GOOG and NVDA and 20 shares of AVGO.
  • Should see some weakness for US markets sooner or later until buyers run out of ammo.
  • Selling delta 10 monthly options for GOOG and then weekly options for NVDA.
  • Plan to sell every Fri Mon and Wed in order to protect against sudden market movement.
  • USD went up to highs of 1.276 but now closed at 1.2706 but will not change to USD for now and only if I need to exercise my options.
  • Just in case USD decides to dump again.

Down-ed approx 48K for the week

Life
  • Went to help sista for her car servicing and Vicom checks.
  • Back to back 2 days travelling to UBI and luckily all was good.
  • Now just waiting for last road tax and insurance till scrap day.
  • Suddenly felt lazy to go overseas, no feels and just want to nua all the way.
  • But at least trying to run at least >8 km per week just to keep endurance high.
  • Trying to maintain at least 6 min per km...pkl
